Dozens of volunteers and entrepreneurs honored on World Volunteer Day

On World Volunteer Day, the Preparatory Committee of the Stone and Story Initiative honored the volunteers and initiatives participating in the Stone and Story Initiative, which had a good impact in organizing quality and creative events over the course of a month prior to World Volunteer Day. In order to raise awareness, education and change for what is most beautiful in all matters related to the Palestinian heritage and its monuments.

With the generous hosting of The National University of Success, With the Emcee Maysa Al-Shami, the ceremony was opened with the university speech represented by Dr. Bilal Salama Followed by the speech of the preparatory committee represented by Mr. Ammar Al-Sadr It was followed by a speech on the occasion of The International Day of Volunteering to talk about the system of volunteering, In addition to the speech of nablus governorate represented by deputy governor Ms. Anan Al-Ataira, The speech of the Ministry of Tourism and Antiquities is represented by the Director General of Antiquities and Cultural Heritage Mr. Saleh Tawafsha and a brief video presentation of the events and initiatives that were implemented within the Stone and Story Initiative

The Story Out team, consisting of Raghad Junaidi, Hadil Abu Amasha and Israa Obeid present a rich presentation on smart tourism, The ceremony also featured artistic and folkloric performances by the Watan Folk Folk Troupe of the Open University of Jerusalem and a demonstration by The Zaytouna Abu Darrar Band.

The ultimate goal of this event is to promote collaborative and creative volunteerism, which the participating initiatives have been a model for, Where more than 14 initiatives were honored, More than 100 volunteers participated in the events, which benefited more than 400 participants. They were honored through nablus city governorate represented by Deputy Governor Ms. Anan Al-Ataira, The Ministry of Tourism and Antiquities is represented by the Director General of Antiquities and Cultural Heritage Saleh Tawafsha, The head of the national volunteer team, Mr. Bassem Hadaida, in addition to the preparatory committee for the Stone and Story Initiative represented by Mr. Ammar Al-Sadr, Mr. Maher Arafat, Mr. Bilal Salameh, Mr. Mufid Salah and Ms. Hiba Awaisa
