Gaza, Palestine – 2024
During one of the most challenging periods in Gaza’s history, Qaf Team – the social leadership arm of Sawaed19 – rose to the occasion with unwavering resilience and compassion. Amid ongoing war and humanitarian crisis, Qaf Team volunteers launched five life-saving initiatives, offering essential support, psychosocial care, and hope to thousands of affected families.
These initiatives were made possible through heartfelt donations from individuals and organizations across Palestine, Morocco, Ireland, and other Arab countries. Their solidarity fueled impactful grassroots efforts led by youth from within the besieged Strip.
🍉 Initiative 1: “Watermelon for Resilience”
With soaring fruit prices and a man-made famine gripping Gaza, fresh watermelon became a rare and longed-for item. Qaf Team launched this initiative to deliver slices of watermelon to around 100 families, helping compensate for the severe vitamin deficiency and bring a moment of joy in the midst of despair.

💰 Initiative 2: “Eideieh for Families”
On the occasion of Eid al-Fitr 2024, Qaf Team distributed Eideieh cash support to approximately 150 families, bringing dignity, celebration, and emotional relief to children and parents who had lost everything.

💧 Initiative 3: “Water Supply for the North”
In response to the catastrophic shortage of clean water in northern Gaza, Qaf Team delivered safe drinking water to hundreds of individuals across the most affected zones. 🍞 Initiative 4: “Bread for Gaza”
Amid severe scarcity and no access to cooking gas, Qaf Team provided fresh bread packages to around 100 families, ensuring basic nourishment and a sense of stability. Watch the video here: https://fb.watch/B7ijN8aU6G/
🌟 Initiative 5: “Moments of Joy”

These five initiatives not only provided humanitarian lifelines, but also restored hope, dignity, and a sense of community for thousands.
