Earlier this year, Cisco employees from the Gulf, Europe, and the Middle East participated in a nine-day volunteer journey across Palestine, in collaboration with Sawaed19 and the Palestine Children’s Relief Fund (PCRF). The team engaged in diverse activities—from planting trees in hospital gardens to offering digital health support and participating in educational sessions at Palestine TechnoPark.
“Super grateful to Cisco for giving us a chance through the Time2Give program to give back to causes we believe in… this time I chose to give back to my home country Palestine.”
Widad Abdalhadi, Marketing Manager at Cisco Gulf
Widad also shared, “The most impactful act is the one that touches the soul of another human. When there is a will, there is always a way.”
This collaboration reflects how companies can move beyond donations and embed their values in hands-on, purpose-driven volunteer work, offering professional skills and human connection where it’s most needed.
“Business sector involvement in volunteering brings new skills, credibility, and long-term partnerships that strengthen local communities,” said Hiba Awaysa, CEO of Sawaed19.
“We see Cisco not just as a donor, but as co-creators of social change.”
Sawaed19 extends a special thank-you to Noura Jardaneh for her warm hospitality and support in hosting the Cisco team during their inspiring visit to Nablus. Her guidance enriched the experience and helped build bridges between international guests and the local community.
