Uniting Arab social entrepreneurs to innovate, connect, and lead change together

Sawaed19 is proud to announce its participation in the Halcyon MENA Intensive Residency Program, hosted in Abu Dhabi as part of the prestigious Halcyon Fellowship for social entrepreneurs in the Middle East and North Africa.

This highly competitive program brings together founders of high-impact ventures from across the Arab world, offering a platform for cross-border collaboration, venture growth, and shared purpose. Through mentorship, strategic support, and community-building, Halcyon empowers a new generation of entrepreneurs to scale their solutions for the greater good.

“To be among such visionary Arab founders, sharing stories, struggles, and strategies, was not only empowering, it was deeply personal. We don’t just build ventures here, we build each other.”

Muath Abu Raed, Co-founder and CTO of Sawaed19

The fellowship was more than a program, it was a space of belonging, creativity, and resilience. Participants brought unique solutions to pressing regional issues, from civic engagement and climate justice to digital inclusion and volunteer mobilization.

“Let’s take a moment to appreciate all the hard work and dedication that brought us here. It’s not always easy, but every step we take brings us closer to realizing our dreams. The world is waiting, fellows. Let’s make our mark,” Hiba shared in a heartfelt note to fellow Halcyon changemakers.

This milestone reflects Sawaed19’s ongoing mission to scale its tech-powered volunteering platform and bring innovative solutions to support civic participation, both within Palestine and across borders. Through Halcyon, Sawaed19 gained valuable access to global networks, practical venture guidance, and most importantly, a family of like-minded social leaders who believe that business can, and must, drive change.

❤️ To all our fellow Halcyon changemakers, thank you for your stories, your solidarity, and your spark.
